Social Networks

Posted in Social Networks at 9:01 am by Xarah

Chris twittered about a blog post from Kelly. I happen to at least click on such links :-) and this time I even read the post.

And I have to agree. I have about 5 Myspace profiles while I only visit one almost daily. But I mostly just see if somebody has a birthday and send them a birthday card. Of course the comments so I can delete that spammy stuff. But the others? Since Opera lost my logins and I would have to go look for them again I don’t go there that often anymore. Who has the time?

Not to mention the other Social Networks! Well, I think if you do have the time and you work on building relationships with your contacts this could help you for your business but if you only go there once a month or even less they have forgotten who you are, or your last chat. Or are not there anymore. Or what ever.

I think it would be a good idea for me - when I find the time - to go and delete most of those profiles. And just blog more, that’s more fun anyways.

So, please, feel free to post “wall” comments on my blog :-)

Joomla DVD

Posted in CMS tagged at 1:12 pm by Xarah

I got a new book from the library and when I started to almost high light some parts of it I figured it’s good sign and it’s about time to go buy it. In the store though I found the DVD to the book! Even better.

I watched quit a bit on Tuesday evening. There is a lot of stuff there. Good thing I have two screens. On one the DVD runs and Hagen explains and shows and on the other screen I have my own Joomla site open and - most of the time - I do what he’s showing.

Soon, I hope, I can have my own Joomla site and then start taking customers. Have I mentioned I need to raise 5000.- this year so I can outsource my book keeping? It’s driving me crazy because I have to gather up my documents for the taxes 2007 which gotten stolen (apparently, right out of the milk box of my bookkeeper). What a drag.

After a cry attact I decided to somehow come up with the dough and outsource the whole thing. Do you like to do bookkeeping? Or what would you like to outsource?

Alright, back to watching more ….

It’s not fun to be sick

Posted in LifeWave, My Live, Skype tagged at 6:59 am by Xarah

I have been a bit quiet lately mostly because last week I was sick for about 3 days.

From Sunday to Monday night I spent more time on the throne than in bed and at one point I even had to bend over. It was not a real pleasure, let me tell you that! And I felt weak for the rest of the week, didn’t eat much but drank several glasses of chocolate bamboo drink to put some stuff into my system so it would keep on working.

And this week I’m still more or less suffering from a stomach pain that moves from the right side to the middle and back. Yes, I tried the pain patches but they did not relief all the pain. They did work wonders though on my back the week before.

As I was laying around all day for almost 3 days my back would have killed me. An added discomfort or even stress to the not being able to keep even water inside me for the first night and half morning. So, I was very very thankful for the icewave patches (which are not cold patches at all even though the name suggests it).

I’m still trying to catch up with everything. But you need to take time for important things. For instance, I met a Skype friend yesterday, in real life, in person! She’s a wonderful, beautiful person who likes to laugh.

We spent lunch, afternoon, dinner and part of the evening together, walking around the town, listening to some street musican, eating, talking, laughing.

It was like vacation because I most probably won’t get to go away this year :-( So I take the little bits of aways from work and computer as I can.

I’m looking forward to meeting more of my Skype friends!

Are you in the area of Zurich? Well, give me holar! I need more of those little vacations! —>—-@

Much More Energy

Posted in LifeWave, My Live tagged at 9:11 am by Xarah

purple flower in my garden

My main health problem is, I would say, lack of energy. I am almost constantly tired. I can fall asleep sitting on the coach after having breakfast. When I come back from grocery shopping or after a walk I often lay down on my bed for 5 minutes and fall asleep and wake up half an hour or more later.

So, you can imagine I have tried a bunch of stuff. If it claims to give me more energy I try it out. I have an Energetix magnet arm-band and even though I like I did not really notice anything. I take two pills of the blue Afa algae but I don’t feel any different. And there are more things, products, ways that I have tried out.

Of course when I heard about Lifewave and its Energy patches I was very sceptical, but I decided to try them. And surprise!

The first day I wore them I forgot about them and went on and on and only when one of my chat partners on Skype wondered that I was still up and about at one a.m. I realized how late it was! Because I knew I had to get up the next morning I figured it would be good idea to take them off :-)

I started to bid my good byes to my several chat partners and started to close the many windows. About half an hour later I was starting to get tired and was ready for bed.

Same next day! And the next day.

On Friday it was the Swiss National Day. We fire fireworks when it gets dark enough. Because we had a little party at a friends place I waited until around 11 a.m. to put them on.

I was fine all day, all evening way into the night. I felt great! Well, around 1 a.m., after 14 hours of wearing my energy patches I took them off. About half an hour I started to feel tired. I was glad to fall into bed around 3 am.

I am so incrediblyglad that I have found something that helps me deal with my lack of energy! Being tired all the time is very tiresome! Am I wearing them now? You betcha!

Get your own Energy Patches!

Neighbor’s Backache

Posted in LifeWave, My Business tagged at 4:11 pm by Xarah

My neighbor who has an adorable dog that I used to walk while she went to work until she retired in February.

Happy

Happy

Now, for all of August she agreed to go back to her former work place and help out. I knew she always had terrible back-ache and I also know that she takes some heavy medication.

So, the other day, I went downstairs to ask her how her day was and how her back was. She said she had a terrible back pain, it’s like she would break apart which freaks her out a little. I then asked if she was willing to try something and she said - to my amazement - yes, without asking any questions.

I raced upstaires, got the IceWave patches and placed them on her back.

After work she showed up at my door telling me that she still had a back-ache but not nearly as bad as it used to be. And, most importantly for her, she did not feel like breaking apart anymore! She immediately wanted to buy a bunch of these patches, even though her money is tight and they are not cheap.

But she said, if she has less pain and does not have to worry about the feeling of breaking in two it’s more than worth it. And I agree. Nothing worse than having such kind of pain.

Me, I cannot wait for my next cycle to test the IceWave Patches :-)

Migraine from Hell

Posted in LifeWave, My Business tagged at 11:08 am by Xarah

Since I can not experience the products of LifeWave myself yet, I am always happy to hear about friends who tried some and got results. Here goes my friend and sponsor at LifeWave, Leah from New Zeland:

“I had the Migraine from HELL yesterday. I ended up at the Dr and had to have 2 injections …. could not drive and was taken home by a friend … spent the whole day in bed still in pain till about 2.30 when there was a knock on the door. I opened it to find my patches … after about 20 minutes of pain trying to see properly to make sure I put them on properly …. in about 1 minute the migraine was GONE!”

Now, isn’t that great? I had a little less pain today, but luckily it will return in about a months time and by then I’ll have MY patches :-)

My first partner in the Choco Biz

Posted in My Business, Xoçai at 4:10 pm by Xarah

Yesterday some of the members of my choir met at Anne’s garden. She has one right next to her house, very nice and big. But she does not have veggies and flowers as I have.

Anyway, we were chatting about and I mentioned I was at a wine tasting even though I don’t much drink wine. Hehe, I was drinking some very sweet wine yesterday and got very talkative. Then I remembered someone saying at that event that they had been to another event organized also by Frauen-Unternehmen and they went to a chocolate manufactury. Now, that I would have love to go visit!

Of course then we talked about chocolate and how you get sick when visiting such a factory. I then mentioned that I was introduced to some healthy chocolate and both my singen colleagues looked funnily at me. Healthy Chocolate? YES!

I explained as much as I have learned so fare and especially Arianne got very interested. Then I said my goal was to be the first in Switzerland and everbody in Switzerland will be underneath me!

Arianne almost jumped out of her chair, almost shouting she wanted to be number two! Great. If Xoçai was already in Switzerland I could have signed her up on the spot. Now, that never happened to me before! And I’ll have to wait until at least 2009 :-(

Why does beaming not work yet?

Posted in LifeWave, My Business, My Live tagged at 4:29 pm by Xarah

Two days ago I joined LifeWave. I want to  try the weightloss thing, that’s one of the reasons I joined.

Boy do I wish we had beam technology already because me and my girl friend have pain. I can handle mine, but I wish I had IceWave for her.

She has had a big surgery in her mouth, about the get new teeth and she has a lot of pain. Her whole face is blown up.

We can kinda beam text all around the world, pictures even and documents. It’s about time someone figures out how to beam products so we can have them faster. I’m willing to pay as much for the beam transportation as I’ll have to pay for the postage :-)
